Ahead of the big box office clash, Aamir Khan has the sweetest thing to say to Akshay Kumar
Two big films are yet again making their big clash at the box office. Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan is set to compete as they both are hitting the theatres on the same day, August 11.
Both the films are very different from each other and it would be interesting to see who wins the number game.
Aamir opened up about the much-discussed battle between him and Akshay prior to the megafight. The superstar surprised everyone by lavishing praise on the Aanand L Rai-directed film and wishing both films success at the box office.
“I hope both the films do well. I have seen the trailer of Raksha Bandhan and I really liked it. I was asking do we make films that are relevant. Here is a film that is relevant. It is a film of a common man who does have problems of economic issues,” Aamir said.
He continued, “I am hoping the film is well made, but certainly, it is a topic which is relevant to us. I am sure it’ll do well and I hope it does well. I hope our film also does well.”
Well, it is interesting to see one superstar rooting for another.
Talking about Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is making his comeback with the film after four years. Directed by Advait Chandan the film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
