Ahead of Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera release, check out the box office prediction of the film

The Shamshera trailer was very well received by the audience. The pre-independence struggle adds a unique flavour to YRF’s much-awaited film trailer. Overall, the film looks like big-screen entertainment. Shamshera also stars Vaani Kapoor in addition to Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Karan Malhotra who is best known for his work on the Agneepath remake.

Let’s take a look at the movie’s advance booking and day one box office prediction before it hits the big screen.

According to tracking of ticket sales at major multiplex chains, Shamshera has taken by far the best advance booking of 2022 after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The final advance figure is expected to lag behind the Kartik Aaryan-starrer, but this is due to several single-screen counters not opening until the day of release. Nonetheless, for a big, commercial mass-market film like Shamshera, the majority of ticket sales are expected to come on the first day itself, as is customary for such films. Furthermore, Ranbir Kapoor, along with Tiger Shroff, is unquestionably Bollywood’s biggest star since Hrithik Roshan.

So, according to the tracking, the Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor starrer, directed by Karan Malhotra, is expected to earn a minimum of 12-13 crore nett on day one, but depending on the number of direct admissions, it could even surpass Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s 14.11 crore nett – the highest opening for a Bollywood film this year. Without the COVID-19pandemic, there’s no doubt that a film of this calibre, with this buzz and star cast, would have opened to more than 20 crore nett. However, some optimistic predictions predict that it will bring in 17-18 crore nett on day one.
