Ae Watan Mere Watan Starring Sara Ali Khan to Hit Screens on March 22, According to Reports

Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is gearing up to kick off the cinematic year with the release of the highly anticipated period drama, Ae Watan Mere Watan, starring Sara Ali Khan. According to the latest buzz, the film is scheduled to premiere in March during the Holi weekend.

As per a report by PeepingMoon, Ae Watan Mere Watan will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from March 22 onwards. The film is based on a true story, portraying the compelling tale of Usha Mehta, a young girl who played a pivotal role in the fight for Indian independence.

Sara Ali Khan takes on the lead role in the film, marking her debut in the biographical genre. Directed by Kannan Iyer and written by Darab Farooqui, Ae Watan Mere Watan boasts a stellar cast, including Sparsh Srivastava, Anand Tiwari, Benedict Garrett, Alexx O’Nell, and Abhay Verma.

The report also reveals that the makers have strategically chosen International Women’s Day, March 8, to unveil the highly anticipated trailer of the film.

It’s worth noting that Ae Watan Mere Watan is just the first of five projects lined up for release by Dharmatic Entertainment in 2024. Alongside this biographical drama, the studio has an impressive lineup consisting of three new web series and the third season of the popular Netflix show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
