Abhimanyu Dassani is an actor who is mostly seen in Bollywood movies. He hails from Mumbai where he was born on 21st February 1990 in the Maximum city where he was brought up. He comes from an Indian actor’s family and was voted as one of the best action heroes among the novices of B Town at Vaayu in one of the festivals in the College – Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. As he comes from Mumbai, he has been linked with cultural and similar programs and his family background led him to become an actor.

He started working as an assistant director to filmmaker Rohan Sippy for the movies like Nautanki Saala and Dum Maaro Dum. He was also part of the New York Film Academy and later the film institute called Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. As far as his debut is concerned, he was first seen in an action movie called Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The film did decent business and was even screened in the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival at the Midnight Madness section, wherein it even bagged the People’s Choice Award as well for the Midnight Madness category. Later it was screened at the 2018 MAMI Film Festival.

Abhimanyu Dassani even bagged the best male debut award at the Filmfare Awards 2020 beating others in the same category. He is soon going to be seen in a Netflix movie called Meenakshi Sundareshwar, while two of his films – Aankh Micholi and Nikamma are lined up to release next year as he is busy shooting for the same.
