Sonal Panwar is an actress and model who hails from North India. She was born and brought in Himachal Pradesh. She did her schooling and college from Dehradun and loved to sing and dance. She learned singing and participated in a various singing competition. While she was in college, she participated in the popular reality show – Sa Re Ga Ma and emerged among the top winners. She bagged a few offers but as she had been living in Mumbai in those days, she decided to act rather than try her luck in singing.
Soon she got the chance to come in touch with Ekta Kapoor and got her first break in the form of a TV show called Kasautii Zindagi Kii aired at Star Plus. Since then it was no looking back for her. She also worked with Silsila which was later shifted to Voot. The actress then was seen in some videos and music albums as well for her hot looks and later expanded her wings to emerge as a stable actress in a small screen.
Some of her TV shows include Woh Apna Sa starring Riddhi Dogra, Sudeep Sahir and Disha Parma in the lead roles. She kept on appearing for few TV shows in smaller and cameo roles. Later she was offered the Web Series by Ekta Kapoor Gandii Baat season 1 in 2018 made for the streaming medium called ALT Balaji. She also got another web series called Maya 2 by Vikram Bhatt. She then got Gandii Baat 2 and currently doing the third season for the web series. She has also appeared in a few TV commercial ads.
