Aamir Khan REVEALS that he use to finish a whole bottle of liquor at one time, here’s why!
Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan turned 57 on March 14. The actor on Monday celebrated his birthday with the media and talked about his next project and more. In conversation with a news channel, the actor opened up about his divorces with Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, staying friends with them, his kids, and much more. He also talked about his scrabble with alcohol and how he has given up alcohol now.
The Laal Singh Chaddha actor told News18, Speaking to News18, Aamir Khan said, “I want to give you good news. I used to drink sometimes, but I have decided not to touch alcohol ever in my life. Some people take two pegs and they are sorted. But I was never one of those who drank regularly. I used to drink on occasions, but whenever I did sit down to drink, I would finish an entire bottle. I felt that was not okay.”
He added, “When you are intoxicated, you do or say certain things which you regret later ‘How could I say or do this’. Not that anything major has happened like that until now, but the fact that a person is no longer under their own control, that didn’t sit well with me. Anything that doesn’t help you be in your control, you should stay away from that. Everything should be under your control. I don’t think I can control alcohol. So it’s better that I quit drinking.”

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s next movie is Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the Indian adaption of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. We are also going to see Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya, and others in the movie. The movie is ready for release in August 2022.
