Plot
The film is made at the backdrop in the war-torn Iraq of 2004, while it deals with an illegal immigrant Bihari family who has been stuck in Baghdad due to situations. Chintu is a six year old body and it’s his birthday when he misses the celebration due to the American forces invading Iraq and the country goes on war. A blast takes places around his neighbourhood, that brings in American soldiers in house to investigate the blast. Soon Chintu’s father gets framed for the same, so what goes next is interesting to explore.
Review
The story created for the film does not showcase the effect of war apart from issues the immigrant faces. But the core of the film’s birthday celebration seemed incredible. However, the intense depth is added to the film with the help of the actors who are playing different roles in the film. The chemistry of the stars in the film seemed incredible and flashes of Life Is Beautiful for me. So right from the actors like Vedant Raj Chibber, Vinay Pathak, Tillotama Shome, and Seema Pahwa everyone has done an excellent role in the film.
Talking about direction, and music along with other elements, the film has everything that one can wish for that have together helped in boosting up the entertainment values. The Cinematography has been excellent, thanks to the fine work by camera. The music in the background along with the screenplay and technical elements like editing and other things have been incredible.
Chintu Ka Birthday The Last Word
This may not impress everyone but it comes for hope, you can watch it for a family, which does not let the love die.
