Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Don’ completes 42 years, Big B celebrated like this

Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Don’ is one of the iconic films of Hindi cinema. In the film, the megastar played a dual role, owning an underworld and his lookalike who strives to survive every day in Bombay.
The film directed by Chandra Barot received much love from the public.

Even Amitabh received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film. Today the film has completed 42 years of release and to celebrate the same, Big B posted an old picture on his social media accounts. In the photo, he can be seen posing with actress Nutan while taking the Filmfare Trophy.

The same year Nutan won the Best Actress Award for her film “Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki”. Amitabh captioned the post, “Don’s 42 years .. Filmfare for Best Actor for Don with Nutan .. produced by Nariman Irani  .. passed away in an accident .. I called his wife on stage and dedicated this award to her. ”
Meanwhile, “Don” also starred Zeenat Aman, Pran, Iftikhar, Helen, Om Shivpuri, Satyen Kappu, Mac Mohan, Yusuf Khan and Pinku Kapoor.

The actor has been associated with several government projects to spread awareness about COVID-19. He is actively encouraging fans to practice social distance and self-isolation to prevent the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on the work front. Apart from this, Big B still has interesting projects like ‘Jhund’, ‘Gulabo Sitabho’ and ‘Chehre’.
