As the actor Rishi Kapoor took his last breath yesterday in Mumbai, it did shake many in Tinsel Town. He was admitted at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday morning for some breathing issues but he lost his life the other day. The actor was cremated at Mumbai’s Chandanwadi Crematorium located in Kalbadevi. A few of his friends and family members were present at his last rites, which also included Alia Bhatt.
We know how Alia used to share a great camaraderie with the late actor ever since she started dating his son Ranbir Kapoor. She had also visited New York with Ranbir Kapoor when he was getting the treatment for cancer. Yesterday when she attended his funeral, she was moved and got emotional to see his last rites performed before her. She later shared one heartfelt message on her Instagram page, have a look at it:
In her long message, she has shared how the late actor has brought positivity in her life. She called him a great fighter, an incredible storyteller, an avid Chinese food lover, a great leader and a total cinema lover. She called him a legend and misses him a lot as she also called him as a friend. Talking about her work, she has a couple of films to release this year and ahead. These include Brahamastra, RRR and Sadak 2 to name a few.
