Fire Breaks Out near Sets of Pati Patni Aur Panga and MTV Hustle 5; No Casualties Reported
A major fire broke out at Film City in Mumbai on Monday, causing widespread concern after videos of the blaze began circulating across social media platforms. The incident took place near the filming locations of the show Pati Patni Aur Panga and the reality series MTV Hustle 5. Fortunately, teams from both productions have officially confirmed that no casualties occurred and that everyone present at the venue remains safe.
A source connected to Pati Patni Aur Panga clarified that the blaze originated outside their main studio area. The source also emphasized that no filming was active on their stage during the outbreak. “Yes, there was a fire outside the sets. There is no casualty. Nobody was shooting at the set of Pati Patni Aur Panga,” a team member shared.
Conversely, the MTV Hustle 5 team was actively filming their grand finale when the fire suddenly started. Key artists tied to the season including Badshah, EPR, MC Square, Paradox, and Agsy were on location at the time. “All the artists were there. The fire happened suddenly. As of now, there are no casualties and everyone is safe,” a production representative confirmed.
The incident occurred around the same time singer Nikita Gandhi was interacting with photojournalists for a scheduled appearance at the venue. A representative from the MTV Hustle 5 crew verified her presence, stating that her media spot was underway right as the unfortunate event unfolded.
Following the outbreak, emergency protocols were activated, and authorities ordered an immediate evacuation of the premises. “As soon as this happened, everybody left the sets for now,” the production team added, noting that everyone evacuated orderly to ensure safety.
The exact origin and cause of the fire have not yet been identified by local fire authorities. While investigations remain ongoing to determine what triggered the flames, production members expressed immense relief that prompt action prevented injuries and kept all cast and crew members out of harm’s way.
