Bigg Boss 19: Awez Darbar Evicted Days After Sister-in-Law Gauahar Khan’s Warning

Awez commands a massive online presence, boasting over 20.4 million Instagram followers and 12.6 million YouTube subscribers. He is the son of music composer Ismail Darbar and brother-in-law to actress Gauahar Khan, being the brother of her husband, Zaid Darbar. Awez entered the Bigg Boss house with his girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar and even proposed to her during the show.
Just days before his eviction, Gauahar Khan visited the house and gave Awez a candid reality check. She told him,
“Aap ka waha par kya ho raha hain, Awez? If you don’t fight your battle, who will? Aap bilkul chup ho unn muddo pe jaha par aapko bolna chahiye (What’s happening with you? Why aren’t you speaking up on issues where you should?) If you get lost, then you have no chance in this show.”

Awez’s gameplay in recent weeks was criticized for lack of assertiveness, with even Salman Khan urging him to up his game. He forged close friendships with Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Abhishek Bajaj, Mridul Tiwari, and Pranit More but clashed with Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik. At one point, accusations surfaced about him messaging other girls while dating Nagma, leading to claims of character assassination.Awez and Nagma, who was evicted two weeks earlier, had planned to marry in December but postponed their wedding due to Bigg Boss 19.
Bigg Boss 19 airs on JioHotstar at 9 pm, followed by a TV telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. This season features contestants like Kunickaa Sadanand, Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Tanya Mittal, and Amaal Mallik. Nagma and Polish actress Natalia Janoszek were the first to exit this season in a double eviction.
