After an intensive fifty days of filming, the supernatural thriller Jatadhara has officially wrapped its principal photography. Producer Prerna Arora is confident that the film will offer an unprecedented experience in Indian cinema. “I know it might sound like bragging—after all, every filmmaker has a tendency to praise their own work. It’s the classic ‘my-baby-is-the-cutest’ syndrome,” she said. “But this time, take my word for it: we’ve crafted a supernatural universe that is truly out of this world.
Jatadhara is set to redefine genre storytelling in both Telugu and Hindi cinema.”Presented by Zee Studios and directed by Umesh K. R. Bansal and Prerna Arora, Jatadhara boasts an intriguing cast led by Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha. The ensemble also features notable actors such as Shilpa Shirodkar, Ravi Prakash, Indira Krishna, Naveen Neni, Shreya Sharma, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Rajeev Kanakala, and Jhansi in pivotal roles. Additionally, an undisclosed lead actor is set to play a significant part in the film, adding an element of intrigue.
The film is directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, with a production team that includes producers Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, alongside co-producers Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora, and creative producer Divya Vijay.

It delves into the treasure itself while also examining the legends and theories surrounding the temple’s unexplainable forces. This captivating narrative blends elements of suspense, adventure, and mystery, creating an intriguing storyline that unfolds with each revelation.
Reflecting on her journey, Prerna Arora remarked, “After the National Award-winning Rustom with Akshay Kumar, this marks my second major collaboration with Zee Studios. It feels like a homecoming. I’ve never felt more comfortable as a producer.” As anticipation builds, audiences are eager to see how Jatadhara will push the boundaries of storytelling in Indian cinema.
