83 Teaser out: Ranveer Singh & team is here to win our hearts, trailer out on 30th November
Ranveer Singh starrer much-awaited film 83’ is all set to hit the theatres. The film faced a lot of hurdles and roadblocks on its way to the big screen because of the COVID-29 Pandemic and lockdown. Kabir Khan directorial biographical sports film 83 has been in the news ever since it was announced. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see the film on the big screen.
Now that the film is finally getting ready for a Christmas release, the makers are speeding up their digital advertising, that is what they decided to drop the teaser on social media today.
The teaser begins in a cricket stadium, with a match reaching a critical point. While the audience in the stands waits, Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev is seen catching the ball. Take a look at the below teaser:
83, directed by Kabir Khan, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The plot centres around India’s historic World Cup victory in 1983. While Ranveer Singh will take on the role of Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone will play Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife.
The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is being produced by Kabir Khan Films Production in association with Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films.
Kabir Khan’s 83 is set to be released on December 24, 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, as well as in 3D. Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios team up with Reliance Entertainment to offer the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film, respectively.
