A busy Friday indeed with too many releases today, Alone one of them hitting theatres. The movie has the dusky beauty Bipasha Basu and smaller screen heartthrob called Karan Singh Grover. Alone was released in more than 1600 screen all across India. It happens to be combo of sex along with horror element, which was expected to work in the mass centers unlike other movies. However, looking at the occupancy report starting from the morning and afternoon shows, the opening for the film was really dull.
As per reports, the horror drama was seen poorly performing over the multiplexes but the single screens collection was a bit better than the bigger ones. The circuits that gave good response include Punjab, Bihar and Orrisa, while others picked up gradually till the evening. Comparatively the evening shows seemed better, which escalated the collection at the end of the day. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Alone tolled to around 3 Crores. Perhaps it seems that the magic of PK is still going on, while other options for the audience also hampered its collection.
Go watch youtubes public re-actions. Alone’s evening shows were housefull at inox and specialy multiplexes running packed house all the day. So you guys better give right n good reports. I’m sure it’ll be 5-6 croses at least. Even overseas people like my cousins are going for this movie . Fingers crossed for a goody good news
Inox was full and I meant single screens were houseful all day as we checked throughout parts of mumbai on cycle only for Bipasha. You guys Better give good n right collections. And isn’t Bipasha’s looking like a Princess straight out from the Arabin Nights Story Books in that third on bed poster
