In fact, the teaser was released last evening to trigger the celebration of their star. The actor today turned 68 and for him, age is nothing less than a number considering the way he chooses the film with action and still do them at this age. Also, let’s not forget that his recently released movie 2.0 is already going great guns and just when it is about to complete the second week, it has crossed 600 crores.
With the collection of 623 Crores, it has already crossed the budget of the movie with 546 Crores. Now, talking about the teaser, the makers have released to honor the birthday of their star and giving his fans something interesting. As you check the teaser, you can find the actor in two avatars – the first one is with a moustache and the other one is with a beard. Looking at the visuals, the teaser can make you nostalgic reminding you the actor of nineties. With this film Petta, Rajinikanth will have his first collaboration with Karthik Subbaraj.
Talking about the film, Rajinikanth said that director has made this film just by being his hardcore fan. He said the director Karthik has a unique storytelling style. He further said that the film happens to remind the films he did in the part particularly in the nineties. He then added that the director has brought from him the kind of work which he used to do in the earlier days of his career. He called the film to be a decent watch for his fan and suited for a festival release. This is his first film with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will be seen in the lead role in it.
