Firaaq
The film was produced and directed by Nandita Das and has been critically acclaimed for its content and performances. The film was based on the aftermath of the 2002 Gujarat riots and showcased the impact of the riots. It also a few awards including the international and national awards.

The film was released in 2013 and was based on the life of a lawyer called Shahid Azmi who was killed in his office in 2010 in Mumbai. The film was produced by Anurag Kashyap, while it was directed by Hansal Mehta. The movie was critically acclaimed for the performance and even bagged best director and best National awards. The film deals with the human right activists who studied law remaining behind the bars and then comes out to become a good social worker.
No One Killed Jessica
The film was released in 2009 and is based on the life of Jessica Lal who was murdered by a minister’s son in the presence of 150 people in a Delhi based pub. It showcased the fight her sister has laid down to get justice for her sister but had to give up fighting against the powerful in politics, which was played by Vidya Balan.

The Akshay Kumar starrer movie, which is based on a fake CBI group who conducts rake raids to get away with the black money and other similar stuff. The film gained good reviews and ratings from most of the critics and have even won awards as well.
The film was based on the real life incidence of Gulf War when a huge amount of Indians were excavated from Kuwait. The film had Akshay Kumar and he played the role of an Indian origin businessman who played a good role in taking away Indians back to their country.
