2.0 Movie Review

It seems that the makers of the film 2.0 have to wait to release their film in China. For the B Town film, China has been a fertile market ever since Aamir Khan films PK and Dangal did a huge business in this country. Ever since we saw many movies releasing in China, which include Hindi Medium, Secret Superstar, Andhadhun, Hichki, and many more. However, for Kabil starring Hrithik Roshan, it was a bad time for him as the film flopped at the Chinese Box Office.

As per reports, another B Town film that is seen facing the heat include 2.0 and that too before it is released in the country. The film was supposed to hit the screens on 12th July but now the makers have to wait for few more day as it is stalled for few reasons. Sources close to the makers feel that the distributor in China HY Media seems to be the improper group to release the film in this country. This is because it is the same company that released film PadMan and it turned out to be a debacle in the country.

For 2.0 to be a winner in China, it has to gain at least 25 Million USD, which seems to be a risk with the said distributor. Also, the experts feel that since 2.0 has used too much of VFX effects, which often is found in Chinese or Hollywood movies, hence the people of this country might not get attracted towards. The reason why Dangal or PK did a good business at the box office as it did not involve any VFX effect and that seemed attractive for the Chinese audience. This made Baahubali and Thugs of Hindostan to fail at the Chinese Box Office.
