Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt slams ‘archaic’ and ‘patriarchal’ reports; says, “I am a woman not a parcel!”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been in the news a lot since revealing they were expecting their first child. The names of every other publication are displayed as more happy information about the couple and their first pregnancy are disclosed. However, it seems as though Mrs. Kapoor is now happy with everything.
Yesterday, on June 27, a number of rumors abounded that RK would be flying to the UK to pick up his wife, who would be taking a break after completing her movie. Alia seems to be upset with the assumptions made by the media, though. Find out her ideas by reading on.
Today, Alia Bhatt criticized a media outlet on her Instagram story over a recent post that read, “Actress Alia Bhatt took the internet by storm on Monday morning after she announced her first pregnancy. Reportedly, the mommy-to-be will return to Mumbai in mid-July. It is also being reported that Ranbir might go to the UK to bring his wife home. According to India Today, Alia will be taking a rest after she returns from her shoot. The report also suggests that the actress planned her pregnancy in a way that doesn’t affect any of her commitments. She will be wrapping up her films, ‘Heart Of Stone’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ before the end of July.”

FYI. Nothing has gotten delayed!!!! No one needs to PICK anyone up. I am a woman, not a parcel!!!!! I do not need to REST at all but good to know you’ll have a doctors certification as well 🙂 This is 2022. Can we pls get out of this archake way of thinking! On the work front, Alia Bhatt has a number of projects in the works, including the Ranveer Singh-starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the Hollywood production Heart Of Stone, starring Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot, and the romantic comedy Darlings. The actress is not only preoccupied with filming but is also anxiously awaiting the premiere of Brahmastra, which she is starring in alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
