Amitabh Bachchan thrilled the audience with an action commercial without any body double
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan shot for an action-packed commercial where he had to break three glass panels. He refused to use anybody doubles for an action scene and informed the crew that he would do his own stunts.
Talking about the same, action director Manohar Verma said, “We were prepared with a body double but when Mr Bachchan came on set he told the director that he would prefer to perform his own stunts. We had to take a lot of precautions, too.” He further added, “Mr Bachchan aced it like a pro and he clearly symbolises the fact that age is just a number.”
On the work front, According to the rumor, Amitabh Bachchan will play a cameo role in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film and has traveled to Kolkata to film his scenes. The project’s specifics, however, have been kept under wraps. According to insiders, Amitabh Bachchan will play a pivotal role in the film. It’s worth noting that this will be Shoojit Sircar’s fifth collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan. They also collaborated on the film Shoebite, which has yet to be released.
Meanwhile, The Piku actor was recently seen playing a football coach in Nagraj Manjule’s directorial Jhund. His acting in the film was highly appreciated, and the film was well-received by critics as well. Aside from that, Big B will star alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in Runway 34. The film will be released on April 29 this year. Amitabh Bachchan also has Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Also, Big B has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
