Manikarnika The Queen Of Jhansi 1st week box office collection

Last week we had two movies releasing on the same day thus witnessing a good competition. These films included the Kangana Ranaut called Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and the other was a biopic film based on the late Marathi leader Bala Saheb Thackeray called Thackeray. Let’s talk about the first movie the Kangana Ranaut starrer movie. The film had a great weekend box office collection touching 42.55 Cr. The weekdays collection went smooth as well beating the other movie in a big way getting a decent box office collection after the 1st week.

As per reports and the tweets of trade pundit Taran Adarsh the film scored this way during the weekdays – Monday- 5.10 Cr, Tuesday- 4.75 cr, Wednesday – 4.50 Cr, Thursday- 4.25 Cr. which made a decent total. Thus the 1st-week box office collection for Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi 61.15 Crores in the domestic market. The experts feel that since no significant film has released this week except the one called Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga, the film is likely to enter into 100 crore club after the end of the second weekend of the film. It is noted that the film releasing today happens to be a niche based film based on the taboo issue of same-sex relationship it may not hamper the way the film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has been going on the box office.

Also, on the other side, the film Thackeray released last week had any damage to do to the Kangana Ranaut historical drama movie. The only deterrent factor for Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi is Uri: The Surgical Strike, starring the talented actor Vicky Kaushal scored 35 crores on this week, which means it has got some of the chunks from the Kangana Ranaut movie. In fact, the experts say that Uri: The Surgical Strike scored better in its third week compared to big-time films like Sanju, Simmba and Padmaavat. Nonetheless, the historical drama Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi had a decent 1st-week box office collection, and it will continue on its own pace.
