Raj Kapoor’s Bobby will never get old. It is a brilliantly made teen romance. After completing school he meets Bobby, the 16-year-old daughter of a poor Christian fisherman. They fall head over heels for each other, but they’ll need everything they have to defend their love as their families won’t accept them marrying each other.
Rudaali:
Rudaali has phenomenal performances. Dimple Kapadia essays the role of Shanichari, who is from a lower caste and her life is full of sufferings, finances, lost parents, drunken husband, mischievous son. But she is unable to shed a tear even at the most tragic circumstances of her life. Then a woman named Bhikni enters her life – she is called Rudaali – one who accepts money in turn for loud laments and weeping. In the movie she wants Dimple to also become rudaali. But her eyes were always dry. In the end, she receives news which brings real tears to her eyes.
Tenet 2020:
Tenet, which is directed by Christopher Nolan, received so much praise and appreciation from the audience as well as critics. Dimple essayed the role of Priya in the film. Nolan himself revealed that Dimple’s charisma and performance are exceptional and no one could have done it better than her.
