Big B is back in news, after his last venture called Kaun Banega Crorepati and his film Thugs of Hindostan he is back again. This time we see him in his next venture called Badla. Sujoy Ghosh has directed the film. The makers now have released the first look poster of the film starring the megastar who is seen walking with his back on our side for his revenge thing. He holds a briefcase and is walking over the bridge in a suit. This reminds us the old Big B of his young age when he has given several scenes in the film donning the corporate look with is a black suit.
Apart from the Big B, the film Badla also has Taapse Pannu who has worked with the megastar in the courtroom drama called Pink. Tapsee in seen in the lead role in the film, while the movie happens to be a remake of a Spanish film called Contratiempo and it is a thriller. The film is co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment of Shah Rukh Khan along with Azure Entertainment. It is slated to hit the screens on the 8th of March 2019 that happens to be the International Woman’s Day. Talking about the film, the leading lady of Badla said that she likes the genre and loves to be the part of Sujoy Ghosh’s film. She said the thrill is Sujoy’s favourite genre and thus one can expect some stellar performances in the B Town with this film.
She further said since the film happens to be a riveting thriller, she has come out of her comfort zone and enjoy the most. We also see Big B shooting for Brahamastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt. Ayan Mukherjee has directed the film. The film also has the South Indian actor Nagarjuna and the B Town actress Dimple Kapadia. The film is produced under the banner of Karan Johar called Dharma Productions, while it is slated to hit the screens in Christmas 2019.
