Yes, you heard it right, Shah Rukh Khan who was the lead actor of the biopic film made on the life Astronaut Rakesh Sharma called Saare Jahan Se Accha is no more the part of the film. He has opted out from the project to pursue his all-time favorite franchise Don that has for him the third part called Don 3. Well, we know SRK is facing a bad time since the past few years. Since Jab Hai Jaan, Don 2 and Chennai Express, all his film have been performing bad over the box office. Despite the rave reviews for the films like Fan, it was not even able to enter into the 100 crores as restricted itself to 85 crores. Similarly, his last year’s film Raees also had an average performance over the box office collection.
His film with Imtiaz Ali called Jab Harry Met Sejal too had to face a tough time over the box office getting a meagre collection. Then he took some time to gear up for his next venture called Zero. However, despite all his competitive performance at the silver screen playing a man with vertically challenged man, he failed to impress the audience, and thus the film was restricted at 90 crores at the box office. He then said he wants a film that can give a blockbuster out of him so when Aamir Khan recommended him to do the Biopic on Rakesh Sharma, he was quick to pick it up and even thanked the Thugs of Hindostan actor for the recommendations.
However, with the recent reports, Shah Rukh Khan has now left the film only to do Don 3. Recently Farhan Akhtar during the trailer release event of Gully Boy announced the start of his next film Don 3. He said that he would be announcing something special for the film soon. Perhaps this was the special thing he wanted to announce that SRK will not do Saare Jahan Se Accha as he is more keen on doing Don 3. It clearly indicates that Shah Rukh Khan is avoiding all sorts of experiments now and only want to try in which he has been good like done. So, he chose Don 3 over Saare Jahan Se Accha. It will be a big blow to the director Mahesh Mathai of Saare Jahaan Se Accha to see SRK opting out of it.
