Catch SRK’s Witty Yet Humbling Speech after winning Global Icon 2016
The B Town King – Shah Rukh Khan was recently adjusted as the Global Icon Of The Year (Male) award and this is the second time when we see the star getting. He received the said award at the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards in Mumbai. Though he couldn’t attend the award function as was shooting back in Europe for his upcoming film The Ring by Imtiaz Ali, he did something that is interesting to catch.
Well, he made a witty speech showcased in the most hilarious fashion of the acceptance speech. As we check the video, he seems to be witty and charming as usual and Shah Rukh Khan explained as to how and why he is not the icon of the globe at all.
He said he is not an icon since his dog at home doesn’t feel so, his friend too don’t treat him as a global icon and his family also doesn’t recognize him as an icon. He later said that people close to him treat him as someone who has visited at appointments always late he then named some real time global icons.
These include Amitabh Bachchan, Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali and Milkha Singh to be the true icons. He then went on thank his fans for their support and love though out his journey. As he is seen braving the chilling winds in Budapest, the King Khan also shared his style motto to his male fans – Death before thermals.
