Zero 1st Week Box Office Collection

Zero Box Office Collection

Its been a week to see the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Zero to hit the screens. With an average collection at the 1st weekend, the film continued to score an okay figure at the end of the first week. However, it did not perform the way it was expected to do in the first week and it continue with the same pace in the coming second weekend of the film and even during the New Year eve. In a sense, the film has an underwhelming week with not so impressive figure. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection went to score around 89 Crores. The kind of collection the film has got after the first week was expected in the opening weekend itself.

Despite getting good reviews for the performance of the lead stars like SRK, Anushka Sharma and even Katrina Kaif, the collection went underwhelming. The makers were positive and hoping to collect the 100 crore in the first weekend itself but it failed to do so. Now, the experts feel that the film lifetime collection would come to an end with the 100 crore. The overseas collection is inching 50 crores now so the total collection may not even exceed beyond 200 crores. With the advent of the film Simmba, the collection of Zero is more likely to be affected. Thanks to a huge buzz for the Rohit Shetty film, Zero is going to further face the competition heat.

This was the second time when Shah Rukh Khan has worked with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif after their big hit film Jab Tak Hai Jaan released in 2012. Unfortunately for Shah Rukh Khan, it seems his magic to perform better over the box office is passing through a rough pitch. None of his movies since past few years have been working. In fact, after Chennai Express all his film seemed average at the box office. The recently released movies – Fan, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Raees and now Zero. Talking about his next venture, SRK is gearing up for his next film Saare Jahan Se Accha, which seems to be the biopic made on Rakesh Sharma. The film will be released in 2020.
