Zain Imam is an Indian television actor. He was born on 18th May 1988 in New Delhi and was born at this place only. He did his schooling and college from New Delhi only. He completed his post-graduation in Management (MBA) from Amity International Business School. After completing his graduation, he worked in the private sector but later he quitted his job and tried his luck in the field of entertainment industry. He made his debut in Indian television with MTV India’s youth based show called Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan as Abhimanyu Thakkar. However, he is best known for his role of Yuvraj Luthra in Zee TV’s show, Tashan-E-Ishq. Currently, he is working in a yet another show of Zee TV’s, Yeh Vaada Raha opposite Sonal Vengurlekar as Abeer Dharmadhikari.
However, before he joined small screen, Zain started his career as a model and walked on ramps for a number popular brands like Reebok, Aldo Group and McDowell’s No.1. He then did a few TV commercials before he started pursuing his career in acting. As said above, he started his TV career in 2014 with MTV’s popular youth drama Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan as the carefree and jovial Abhimanyu Thakkar but role ended when the character died from cancer. The show ended in December 2015.
However, his popularity came with the show when he was cast as Yuvraj Luthra, the main male lead in Zee TV’s popular romantic series Tashan-E-Ishq. In the show his character of Yuvraj Luthra had many shades and his portrayal of Yuvraj Luthra was appreciated by the audience. He had also tried many looks for his character in the show. For his work in the show he was awarded with the award for Favorite Dushman at Zee Rishtey Awards 2015 and Best Actor in a Negative Role at Zee Gold Awards 2016. The TV show Tashan-E-Ishq ended in September 2016. Currently, he is working in another TV show called Yeh Vaada Raha aired at Zee TV apart from the called Naamkarann wherein he has the lead role called Neil.
