YRF shares a special video ft prominent filmmakers celebrating #30YearsOfAkshayKumar
Over the course of his three decades in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar’s image has drastically changed. The actor has given some of the most iconic films in his career. Akshay Kumar, who started his acting career with a small role in the film Aaj, the actor has made a special place in the industry. From comedy to horror the actor has aced every role. In the last decade or so, the actor has shifted his focus from hard-core action films to more message-driven films.
As the actor completes 30 years in the entertainment industry Yash Raj Films have shared a video featuring prominent directors of the industry. From Anand L Rai to Sajid Nadiadwala talking about the versatility and talent of the actor. The video is narrated by Karan Johar.

Akshay Kumar reposted the video and tweeted, “30 years of cinema, a lifetime filled with your love! Thank you for this amazing journey and thank you @yrf for piecing it together so beautifully with #Prithviraj, releasing in cinemas on 3rd June.”
In the video, Akshay Kumar said, “It didn’t even cross my mind that this activity is happening to celebrate my 30 years in cinema. It’s fascinating those 30 years have passed since my first film Saugandh! The first shot of my film career was at Ooty and it was an action shot! Thank you very much for this gesture. This is really special.”
Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi the historical drama based on the life and valour of the fearless and mighty Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan.
