Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films is all set to take his famous Tiger franchise to the next level. He is planning for the third and the final installment for the popular Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer franchise. Although, we know that the actor has a few more films to release this year and the next including Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Guns of North and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, but the Tiger Franchise remains the most awaited ones for the B Town fans.
This will be Salman Khan’s 50th project with Yash Raj Sharma and the latest buzz suggests that it will have the Fan fame director Maneesh Sharma as its director. The film is expected to be made at a whopping cost of 300 Crores. The cost of production from the makers would be not less than 200 to 225 Crores, which will be the highest budget for any B Town film. While the rest of the money will be invested for post-production and promotion for Tiger 3.
Salman Khan will be getting his 100 Crore as his acting fees from the makers, which depends upon the kind of profit the film will be making at the time of release. With this the budget of the film goes the highest for any Bollywood. The maker’s eye to breach not less than 400 Crores from the film. The prequel – Tiger Zinda Hai managed to earn 339.16 Crores, which was huge, while the budget of the film was 150 Crores. This excluded the Salman Khan fees, which was 60 Crores. Yash Raj Films has invested huge money on Thugs of Hindostan with Rs. 240 crores, but it failed to yield much on the box office.
