Actress Yami Gautam tied the knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Dhar is known for his National award-winning film Uri-The Surgical Strike released in 2019. While Yami is famous for her roles in Vicky Donor, Bala, Uri among others.
On Friday, Yami Gautam took to her social media handle to announce the news. She posted a picture of her wedding ceremony. She wrote, “In your light, I learn to love – Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family.”
“As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes,” she wrote as a joint message from the two.

Yami can be seen wearing a traditional red saree in the picture. While Aditya is seen wearing a traditional off-white sherwani with matching headgear.
As soon as the announcement was made friends and fans of the couple were showered with wishes and messages. Actor Dia Mirza, who recently tied the knot herself, wrote, “Congratulations Yami and Aditya. Lots of love and best wishes to a wonderful journey ahead!”.
Yami’s co-actor in Ginny Weds Sunny, Vikrant Massey, wrote, “Bahut bahut bahut badhaaiyaan Yami ji and Bhai sahab. Incredible. God bless you both!!!! Dher saara pyaar!!!”.
