WTF: Kangana Ranaut calls Alia Bhatt & her Gully Boy role as mediocre work
Generally, the B Town celebs do not speak their mind, but there are a few who are bold in their views and never shy away in expressing opinions about others and their work. One of them is the Queen actress – Kangana Ranaut. Kangi is often seen airing views on others and is bold enough to talk and keep strong views on other B Town actors. She has also been straight and blunt on issues like politics and the nepotism debate within the industry.
A few days before, she talked about Alia Bhatt that seemed to have become a controversy. Kangana spoke openly talked about the work of Alia in Gully Boy playing the role called Safeena. She called it to be an embarrassing representation of women empowerment and even acting. She called the performance of Alia as mediocre and called her role to be the one of any snappy girl that was poorly done.
Hence she said there is not much to talk about Alia’s role in the film. In her interview, she said that she is embarrassed to see how the girl has performed in the said role. She also alleged the media that they have pampered Alia and her role and that she should grow up and take some serious roles in her career. Now, that’s blunt, while Alia is yet to react on her statement. Talking about Kangana Ranaut, she is gearing up for her next film Mental Hai Kya, while Alia is gearing up for her film Kalank with Varun Dhawan and others.
