John Abraham Batla House

As John Abraham is gearing up for his next film Batla House, we see him busy in its promotion. The actor plays the controversial cop who carried out the encounter at Batla House near Jamia Nagar in 2008. Many claimed to be a fake encounter, however, the other side had their reasons to justify the same. So, it was obvious to see John facing some tough questions. One of the questions posed to him during the promotion of the film in the media, the actor said that the Industry is no more a secular place as it seems to be polarized.

He said that though the percentage can be higher of secular people in the industry at the same time he experiences the rampant divisive mood brewing in and around it. However, the actor said that this is the best country and the best industry to work with. While talking about the controversial dialogues, he said its not just India which is divided but the whole world is divided. He said that we are living in a world where everything seems to be divided. The actor feels that Social media is something which one should not take seriously.

He said people tend to make irresponsible statements over the social media, and it has become rampant today in the recent past time. He said that since social media remains unregulated too often, hence it is easier for people to make even the most toxic statements, hence he asked people not to believe in social media. His film will be clashing with Mission Mangal and he said that it will not affect the film as both the films are different and people would love to catch both at the same time.
