World Photography Day: Some Bollywood movies with the Best Cinematography

World Photography Day is a significant occasion for Indian Cinema as filming is nothing without photography. Photography is a critical art of depicting layers of emotions and every tiny detail visually. No doubt, it makes the plot of movies more compelling and trustworthy.

Our Hindi Cinema not just offers you a movie that narrates a story, but also a visual treat that hits an emotional chord as you watch it. Beautiful cinematography leaves a long-lasting impression compelling viewers to watch the movie again. Take an example of the movies like Bahubali, KGF2, Omkara, and so on.

People enjoy watching stories that are portrayed beautifully and compare visual effects to the plot of the movie. On world Photography day, Let’s have a look at some movies visually done right.

1. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is one of the movies expected on the list. Zoya Akhtar’s direction and Carlos Catalan’s filming left us in awe. ZNMD depicts everything beautiful. Hrithik’s six-pack abs, Katrina’s red outfit, and the Spanish city.
The movie gave us a vibe of high and low friendships while showing some beautiful sceneries in Spain.

2. Barfi (2012)
Barfi is a beautiful and truly amazing movie indeed. Its story was heart touching and the acting was excellent. However, the fact that it was shot beautifully became a plus point for its popularity and left a long-lasting impression on the audience. They could experience the character more closely due to visual effects.

3. Photograph (2019)
Photograph is an Indian romantic drama released in 2019. A group of international cinematographers was hired to shoot this film. This movie was underrated and didn’t receive the number of praises it deserved. Its beautiful shots were taken very carefully and crafted by skilled people. The short has varying qualities that had to be portrayed through visuals.

4. Dev D (2009)
Dev D is a romantic black comedy of Bollywood which was released in 2009. The movie won the title of Best Cinematography at the Filmfare awards. The whole credit goes to the beauty placed in every single frame while shooting.

5. Dil Se (1998)
Dil Se featuring Shah Rukh Khan was successful in every aspect. Whether it’s the music or the story, this movie was amazing. It is well known for its nonlinear storytelling and went on to win awards for cinematography, choreography, soundtrack, and many more.
