Wondering what to watch on Christmas weekend? We got you covered

The fact that Christmas falls on a Sunday has both advantages and disadvantages. While nothing beats a long weekend, binge-watching classic Bollywood films may just make up for the loss of that one extra day. For those who prefer to stay indoors, eat biryani, and browse the internet, here’s a tried-and-true list of movies that are JUST RIGHT for your movie marathon!

Kal Ho Na Ho:

Kal Ho Na Ho

This heartwarming Bollywood drama is ideal for a lovely Christmas day. The film, like any other KJO film, was primarily shot in New York, stars Shah Rukh and Saif in their prime, and has a fantastic soundtrack!

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu:

This unusual Hindi film with an unusual climax is ideal for a cold Christmas Day. Flavored popcorn is highly recommended!

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham:

If you want to watch a perfect Bollywood film with a lot of drama, Karan Johar’s 2001 release Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is ideal. Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan star in this romantic family drama. Rahul, the adopted older son of a wealthy couple, is banished by his father when he chooses to marry a middle-class woman. Years later, his younger brother, Rohan, decides to track him down.

The film is a work of art in the Indian film industry. With a fantastic cast of actors, the film will keep you entertained throughout. In 2019, the film starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor was released. Anirudh, a middle-aged man, is forced to reminisce about his college days with his friends who were labelled as losers after a tragic incident. It’s an inspiring story about losers becoming winners.

English Vinglish:

“English Vinglish” may appear to be an odd choice for a holiday movie list, but the film excels at being both a family entertainer and a showcase for a beautiful, emotional story. Furthermore, the film follows Sridevi’s Shashi as she learns English, as well as her time spent in America throughout the seasons.
