Women’s Day: Deepika to Anushka, The B Town Divas who Ruled With Powerful Content by making Strong Stories

We are just on the verge of entering the Women’s Day, which is observed all across the world on 8th March. We now see the dominance of men in B Town, but at the same time, it has witnessed the presence of women as well. Right from producing good and strong movies based on women and by the B Town divas, we see many projects that have gone impressive in the Tinsel Town as driven by the ladies of B Town. Right from Deepika to Anushka and Dia Mirza, all are known to produce quality content-driven films in Bollywood, let’s check them out:

Deepika Padukone – She has turned a producer recently with her film Chhapaak. Her film talked about the struggle of an acid attack survivor from real-life produced under the banner KA Entertainment. The movie did stir her B Town folks and audience alike, however, the kind of controversy created about her visit to JNU did hamper her film as well. Yet we can see it was a content driven film produced by a lady on a lady and directed by a lady as well.
Anushka Sharma – She has founded her company called Clean Slate Films with her brother way back in 2014 and did her debut the film NH10 doing the lead role. Her other films included Phillauri and Pari which can be counted as the content-rich films in B Town.

Dia Mirza – She is known for her versatile talents in the town. She is not just an actress but a producer apart from being a philanthropist. With her production house called ONE INDIA STORIES LLP, she has many many meanings films with compelling content.

Reema Kagti – She has inspired many Divas in B Town to embark in the industry to come out with some cool films. She with her Tiger Baby Films Production house has given many good movies and series like Made IN heave and so on.

Meghna Gulzar – She has given some of the best films as a filmmaker and some of them include Talvar, Raazi and Chhapaak and impressed everyone with her incredible style of story telling and direction.
