Even the sequel of Pyaar Ka Punchnama also bagged good at the box office collecting 64.10 crores. Since then he kept on giving decent grosses getting even the Rs. 100 crores club films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in 2018 and Luka Chuppi also going on similar lines. So, with this, he got a couple of films that are into the making which include Bhool Bhoolajiya 2 and Dostana 2, while Love Aaj Kal 2 with Sara Ali Khan is on its away as it is going to hit the screens next month.
Considering him now as a bankable actor, Kartik has now inflated his fees for his next film to 7 Crores. His brand value in the past year also has boosted well in the market getting him too many endorsements from leading brands right from Mobile to Ecommerce and many more similar other companies. So, it would be fair to say that the actor deserves the hike as he is somewhere instrumental in making the film big at the box office. Also, his growing popularity in the media makes all the difference now.
