Will Sonam Kapoor get another Superhit with Padman after Neerja?
We know her as a style icon or the Fashionista of B Town. She has come a long way giving several movies, but her last movie Neerja a biopic made on the life of a daredevil air hostess made her take her career to a high point from her very successful film Neerja. Since then it was no looking back for the gorgeous diva in the B Town as she is flooded with one offer to the other. However, with so many offers for her, she has decided to go very much choosy about the movies she wants to be the part of it. So, come the 26th Jan 2018., she has her film called Padman releasing after almost a gap of two years.
She has been in this industry since past 11 years and talking about her films, these have been a mixed bag having movies of the different genre, with some hits and some flops. Some of her hit films include Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, and Neerja to name a few. These films are called as the highest grossing movies of all time in her career. With a few 100 crore club movie, the film that crossed the 200 crore mark include Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which she played opposite Salman Khan.
With cool performances, she has been getting praises and applauds for her good performances in the movies I Hate Luv Storys and Delhi 6 along with her debut movie Saawariya to some extent. Though these films failed at the box office yet she was applauded for her work. However, Neerja in the year 2016 was the only film that was critically acclaimed and also did well at the box office. So when she has a film after almost two years called Padman, it would be interesting to see the way it performs and will she get another hit with Akki in it as the main lead.
