Mira Nair is back in the news with her next web series called A Suitable Boy. The web series has Ishaan Khatter and Tabu in the leading roles. It is based on Vikram Seth’s book with the same title. The series will be distributed by the media giant – BBC and it also has Rasika Dugal, Tanya Maniktala, Randeep Hooda, Savita Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Shahana Goswami and Ram Kapoor to name a few in the pivotal roles. The makers have finally released the first trailer of the series.

Ishaan Khatter played the character called Maan Kapoor who seems to be in love with a courtesan named Saeeda Bai played by Tabu. The crux of the trailer is the duo’s crackling chemistry. Mira Nair is the director of the series, while it is her first collaboration with Ishaan while Tabu has earlier worked with her in the movie The Namesake opposite late actor Irrfan.
