Why Janhvi Kapoor is unable to shoot the challenging climax of the Gunjan Saxena biopic?
Janhvi Kapoor is the new Dharma girl, while she has also proved her mettle hard with her debut film, Dhadak produced by Karan Johar opposite Ishaan Khatter. Now, she is gearing up for her next film playing Gunjan Saxena over the silver screen. The actress has gone through good training and worked hard to get into the skin of the character. The film is tentatively is called The Kargil Girl, while the shoot for the film has been moving ahead for a few months.
As per reports, the shoot for the said film has got a roadblock as the makers wanted to shoot the climax scene at the Air Force station based in Lucknow, but it was stopped due to bad weather. The diva was supposed to shoot the scene with the actor Angad Bedi who seems to be playing the role of her brother Anshuman in it. Once they complete this shoot, the team would leave for the UK to complete the other sequence there.
The biopic made on Gunjan Saxena happens to be an ode to the valiant Air Force pilot who remains the first woman to fly in the combat zone area. She played a crucial role in saving the injured soldiers during the Kargil war in 1999 and thus was even honored with Shaurya Chakra for her incredible contribution for the said war. Karan Johar is producing the film and the diva has remained his first choice all the time as she has the stature and poise of the lady officer.
