Ever since the film Inshallah of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt was called off by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, there seem to be many rumors moving around. Some claim that Salman Khan asked a remuneration of 100 crores for the film that led the makers to shelve the project. However, there seems to be some other reason that had led the makers to shelve the venture. Well, as per the sources close to the makers and Salman, the makers and the actor had some creative difference that led this decision.
Salman Khan was happy with the first half of the film and was not happy with the second part and particularly the climax. He wanted to make a couple of changes by convincing Bhansali who has himself written the script. But it seems that the difference led the project go on haywire. Even though the film had sold the digital and satellite rights and even bookes the studios to shoot the film, the makers had to scrap the movie.
So it was the irreconcilable creative differences found in between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali that led to this decision. As per the sources, the makers wanted the film to be like a larger than a love story kind of film, while Salman Khan wanted to make it a mass entertainer for the fact that it was releasing on the eve of Eid. The crew had already started the pre-production work and they felt that the two would agree to some point and compromise on the other, but it did not work thus the two decided to scrap the project.
