Runway 34 Trailer Launch: Ajay Devgn explains the process & hardwork behind the making, Sr Bachchan has a special msg!
he much-anticipated trailer of Ajay Devgn‘s Runway 34 was launched today. The director and actor play the lead role as a pilot in the movie. In the trailer, Amitabh Bachchan plays an investigating officer who is looking into an event in which Ajay, Captain Vikrant Khanna force-lands a flight against warnings and instructions not to. It is based on a real-life event.
At the trailer launch event, the star cast of the movie was present and shared some behind the scenes stories.
Amitabh Bachchan was not present at the trailer launch event but he expressed about the movie through a video. He said, “Film’s all credit goes to Ajay Devgn because he manages to direct and act very well. The way Ajay works on this film, I didn’t seem to see it before.”
While talking about the film, Ajay Devgn said, “I heard this script two years back and then I had asked the writers to make some changes. In the lockdown, when we were all home, I checked on the status of the script. Then we started working more on the subject, and then, it was in lockdown that we started shooting. I prefer choosing the tough path to make films, and it was difficult to create these visuals.”
When asked, what was the most challenging part when working on this project, Ajay said, “I think the most challenging part is storytelling. At the time of the shoot, you have to tell many things in a short time.”
Talking about Ajay as producer, Rohit Shetty said Ajay is a lavish producer. He said, “Raju Chacha’s budget was Rs 32 crore in times when other film’s budget normally was Rs 8 to 10 crore. Ajay is a very lavish producer.”
Runway 34 is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Aakanksha Singh, and Angira Dhar in key roles, and it is also the Bollywood debut for Youtuber Carry Minati. It is co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini, and Jay Kanujia. The movie will be released on 29 April 2022.
