Why Aamir Khan Wants to Watch Anurag Kashyap’s film Bombay Velvet ?
The so called Magnum Opus film of Anurag Kashyap called Bombay Velvet has failed over the box office for receiving low reactions from audiences. Though many of the stars cared the least about the film, however, there are few from the B Town who would want to watch this film having Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the movie. This certainly include Mr. Perfectionist – Aamir Khan who has expressed his desire to watch the film despite being BV going flop over the box office.
Aamir Khan was seen saying that he is still to watch the film, though he has watched the trailer, which seemed very much promising to him. He said after watching the trailer, it is clearly evident that lots of hard work have been put for making this film. In an interview to a media, he was seen saying that he felt sad to see the movie turning flop, however, he would like to watch the film. The film has showcased the story of the Bombay and in making in the sixties.
Furthermore, Aamir said that there are few films who do well, while others flop. He then said, one can feel bad seeing the dull performance of the film at box office, however, such junctures people need to learn from experiences. The film is based on the book called Mumbai Fables by a popular author called Gyan Prakash, which is a story of a man’s dream becoming a nightmare. BV was among the most ambitious projects of Anurag Kashyap, which was however, offered to Aamir Khan, but after waiting for long, AK opted for Ranbir Kapoor instead of the PK actor.
