The film Stree starring Rajkummar Rao was a big hit. We soon heard that the makers of the film are coming up another film with the Stree actor. Dinesh Vijan is again collaborating with the actor for yet another horror comedy movie, which will be co-produced by the Mrighdeep Singh Lamba the Fukrey fame co-producer. Now, we hear that the announced horror comedy film has got its title – Rooh-Afza, well the title seems interesting what do you say. Now talking about the plot of the movie, it deals with a singing ghost.
Yes, it seems similar to Stree with some obvious changes in it. The singing ghost makes the grooms sleep so that she could possess the bride. The film is set up in UP in Moradabad and is inspired by yet another folk-legend. The makers informed that the film would be a comedy and also deals with the topic of a legend. The producer said that though the film is named after a refreshing summer sweet drink it has nothing to do with it as one may not find any dessert element in the film. The film is likely to hit the floors in May 2019, while the female lead is yet to be decided and so is the director of the film.
Talking about Rajkummar Rao, the actor is busy with his next film Mental Hai Kya. This film is directed Prakash Kovelamudi the National award-winning Telugu filmmaker. The filmmaker is known to direct movies Bommalata and Anaganaga O Dheerudu. With this film, Rajkummar Rao will have his second collaboration once he did his last film Queen with Kangana Ranaut in 2014. The film is produced by the newly turned mother Ekta Kapoor, while it is hitting the screen 29th March 2019. After this, all eyes are now for the horror-comedy?
