Sara Ali Khan is undoubtedly one of those who wears her heart on her sleeve. The attractive actress has never been afraid to speak her mind and is well-known for her open statements. Sara recently shared an amusing anecdote about what she felt about her estranged parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, as a child in a recent interview. She also discussed her reactions to the films ‘Omkara’ and ‘Kalyug.’
The Simmba actress made a surprising admission when speaking with Harper’s Bazaar India. She described her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, as “negative people” when she was a child. Sara claimed that after seeing her father Saif in Omkara and mother Amrita in Kalyug, she believes her “father uses terrible language and her mother runs a porn site.”
“All I remember is watching Omkara (2006) and Kalyug (2005) and being really disturbed that my parents were such negative people (laughs)! I was very young and I used to think that my father uses bad language and that my mom runs a porn site…it was not fun! And because they were both nominated for ‘best actor in a negative role’ in the same year, I was, like, ‘What is this!?,” Sara was quoted saying.
For those who are unaware, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh married in 1991 and were married for 13 years until divorcing in 2004. Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan are their children. Saif is currently married to Kareena Kapoor Khan, with whom he has two boys, Taimur and Jehangir. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
