As Zaira Wasim announced her retirement from Bollywood, the 18-year-old actress faced lots of criticism within and outside the B Town. Many hit her for deciding on the grounds of religion and similar things. However, there were few who also supported her decision and called it her personal life. The media debated this issue and Zaira Wasim still remains in the news for quitting the industry despite getting the National Award for Dangal and other films.
Now as we see Kangana Ranaut also making news for getting indulged into a debate with a journalist during the launching of her next film’s song, she also had an opinion about the young actress. When she was with her entire cast and crew for the launch of the song, she was questioned about various issues including Zaira’s exit from the industry. To which she said if she has fulfilled her desire working in B Town then she has too many things to do like helping her friends and family apart from doing something for the river Kaveri, which is dying.
She then added that the role of any religion is to empower its followers and not take away from the empowerment. In a sense, she has criticized the decision of the young actress from the film industry like many who did when she announced. Talking about Kangana Ranaut, she is now gearing up for her next film – Judgemental Hai Kya by Ekta Kapoor which she is doing opposite Rajkummar Rao. While Zaira Wasim will have her next film The Sky Is Pink with Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar who would be seen in the lead roles. However, ever since she quit the B Town, she will not be promoting the film anymore.
