Malaika Arora and Farah Khan reveal how she became a ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ girl when she wasn’t on the list

This Bollywood diva has finally made her long-awaited digital debut with her all-new show ‘Moving In With Malaika’. Through this Disney Plus Hotstar special, she is gonna break some exciting facts about her personal life and entertain the audience. As she said, let’s keep it real, she promises to bring unfiltered conversations as reality shows must bring reality.
With the opening episode of the much-awaited show – Moving In With Malaika, producer, director, choreographer, and dear friend – Farah Khan Kunder comes over to Malaika’s place for a friendly visit. The two go back in time and reminisce about the making of Malaika Arora. They talk about her past, present and much more.

While chatting with Malaika, Farah Khan revealed how five girls turned down the offer of this iconic song for the actress. Farah said, “You are the Chaiya Chaiya girl. Fortunately, around 5 heroines refused to climb on the train and it was you at last.”
She further added, “Malaika Arora was never there on the list. We also connected Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shilpa Shirodkar, and 2-3 other actresses. One was scared of climbing on the train while the other was unavailable. Then one of our make-up persons suggested Malaika’s name praising her dancing skills. When she climbed on the train, we were inquisitive if she would be able to do it. Rest all what we know is history.”
Moving in With Malaika will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar Monday to Friday from December 5, i.e. Today.
