Yodha Day 4 Box Office: Sidharth Malhotra’s Film Witnesses Significant Decline, Grosses ₹2.5 Crore in India
The Bollywood film “Yodha,” starring Siddharth Malhotra, experienced a significant drop in its box office collection on Monday, March 18. Early estimates suggest that the film earned ₹2.15 crore net in India on its fourth day, as reported by film industry tracker Sacnilk.com. The report also mentioned that the film had an overall occupancy of 10.36 percent in Hindi language on March 18.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film has accumulated ₹19 crore net in India during its four-day theatrical run. On Day 3, the film witnessed a spike in collections, earning ₹7 crore, while on Day 2, it garnered ₹5.75 crore net. On its release day, the film collected ₹4.1 crore net in India.
On Monday, the production banner Dharma Productions shared the box office figures on its official page, stating that the movie had amassed ₹17.51 crore in net box office collections across India. The film is Directed by debutant duo filmmakers -Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, “Yodha” is also backed by Mentor Disciple Films. Alongside Siddharth Malhotra, the film stars Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. It is produced by Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. Originally scheduled for release in July of last year, the film finally hit theaters recently.
Audience reviews for “Yodha” have been mixed, with some considering it Siddharth Malhotra’s best film and others finding it average. One user even praised it as the best hijack-based patriotic film in Indian cinema, while another criticized the climax of the movie. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, in a social media post, described the film as engaging, highlighting its interesting twists, gripping finale, and Sidharth Malhotra’s superb performance. He also mentioned that the film loses grip intermittently in the second half and becomes predictable, but the brilliant action compensates for it.
