Vivek Oberoi Deletes his Tweet & Apologizes
Ever since the PM Narendra Modi actor – Vivek Oberoi posted a meme of Aishwarya Rai on exit poll he was getting critical remarks from all the sides. RIght from getting the notice of the National Woman’s Commission to getting slammed by Sonam Kapoor, he was trolled heavily for his tasteless and baseless meme made on exit poll. He then deleted the tweet and posted his apologies amidst all his anger hours after he was seen displaying over the defiance.
In his latest tweet, he said that he never intended to offend anyone, and since people including women are getting offended he has deleted the same and now apologize for the same. He then said that at times when things may only appear funny and harmless at one go but it can do just the opposite to others, he said he has spent more than a decade empowering the women and girls from underprivileged society and thus cannot even think of offending a single woman.
He then said people in the meme have no problem and other people have issues with it. He also suggested Sonam Kapoor while replying her tweet to calm down and not to overreact as he never intended to offend anyone. Last evening he shared a meme of Aishwarya Rai with Salman Khan calling it to be an opinion poll, then the lady with Vivek as exit poll, while for the result he shared Aishwarya Rai with Jr. Bachchan and his daughter. This led the controversy in the media compelling him to delete it. Talking about the actor, he is gearing up for his film on PM Modi, which will be released on 24th May.
