Katrina Kaif remembers the scene where she had to slap Akshay in Sooryavanshi
Katrina Kaif was asked to give a hard slap to Akshay Kumar in their movie ‘Sooryavanshi‘ which was released last year. While remembering the old scene, the actress revealed that she was reluctant to hit him directly on the face.
When asked about the moment, Katrina told, “When you are filming Rohit Shetty’s film, it’s a completely different experience. This is what I think.”
“And when you have Akshay Kumar with you, it gets even more exciting. I can still recall that one scene when I was instructed to slap Akshay and I was unwilling to do it. I was hesitant as the scene demanded an exact tight slap on his face”, she further added.

The actress remembered all the memories from the film and told that the scene reminded her of their superhit film ‘Welcome’ which was released in 2007.
Kat said: “The scene made me remember the time when both of us were shooting for our blockbuster movie Welcome. We felt like it was a deja vu(t you have been here and done this before). So, we did it in one take, laughed for some time and then called it the end of the day.
The Rohit Shetty directorial was released last year and is available on Netflix as well as Disney +Hotstar. & pictures premiere of ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be on the 6th of august, ie Saturday.
