Vineet Kumar Singh is an actor and writer who hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 24th August 1980 in Varanasi and was brought at this place. He active in sports an played basketball participating also in National Level. He then went to complete his BAMS followed by MD in Ayurveda doing top in Shri Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur. He wanted to pursue his career in acting and was keen on to seek admission in National School of Drama, however, her parents did not allow him to pursue his dreams and asked him to pursue medicine.

While he was on the verge of completing his education, he got the chance to participate in Superstars Talent Hunt in Mumbai. He bagged the title and soon got a role in the Sanjay Dutt starrer movie called Pitaah by Mahesh Manjrekar in 2002. Since then it was no looking back for the actor as he got another film the same year called Hathyar, Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii, then a Marathi movie Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, and then B Town film City of Gold. He was also the part of Anurag Kashyap’s films – Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 and Part 2.

He then got into a TV series called Upanishad Ganga, while soon he got many other films including Issaq, Gori Tere Desh Mein, Shorts, Bombay Talkies, Ugly, Bollywood Diaries, Mukkabaz, Daas Dev, Gold, Saand Ki Aankh, and Adhar to name a few till date. The last two films are under process and he is shooting for them. Talking about awards, he was in Canada during the Screening of his film at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2017 Mumbai Film Festival while he was also nominated for the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. He will be seen in the web series called Bard of Blood with Big B and Emraan Hashmi.
