Vikrant Massey Returns to Sets After Hiatus, Joins Shanaya Kapoor for Upcoming Film in Dehradun

Vikrant Massey is back in action, recently spotted in Dehradun filming for Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan alongside Shanaya Kapoor. This comes after his earlier announcement about ‘retiring’ from films, which he later clarified was simply a break. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Vikrant elaborated on his viral retirement post, stating that he is not retiring but merely taking some time off.

Clarification on Retirement

As the shooting commenced in Dehradun, Vikrant was seen donning a black puffer jacket, and a video of him greeting Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has gone viral, showcasing their friendly interaction. Shanaya Kapoor was spotted in a colorful sweater and denim. Vikrant explained his decision, saying, “I’m not retiring… Just burned out. I need a long break. I miss home, and my health is also acting up… People misread it [the social media post].” He expressed his desire to recalibrate and spend quality time with his family, fulfilling his roles as a husband, father, and son. Vikrant mentioned that he has two more films lined up before his break. Meanwhile, in his stay in Dehradun, he seemed to have met the CM of the state, have a look at the Instagram post going viral at the moment.
